me? yes, i do go out without makeup sometimes. much less now than when i was younger. the loss of color in my lips, eyelashes and eyebrows plus the sun spots on my cheeks are a bit much. i'm in full on maintain mode these days.

in my 20s until my mid 30s? not so much. just on special occasions or when i went out.

I feel absolutely NAKED without any makeup on. If I'm in a real rush, I'll slap on some moisturiser and red lipstick. That's my bare minimum. My usual makeup consists of Vitamin E moisturiser with SPF, concealer under my eyes and over any spots, blush, liquid liner in a cat-eye shape, mascara and lip gloss or balm.

I love seeing what different people mean by "just a little" makeup. To me, a little makeup is mascara, nothing else. To someone else, it's blusher and concealer and mascara - which is an amount of makeup I've worn maybe four or five times.

In September I decided (since I was already doing Sober October & No Shave October (used to be No Shave November, but I thought I'd do all my challenges in one go)) to see how long I could go without even putting on mascara, which I already use very sparely.

... It will be 7 weeks this Saturday! Yay. Same for shaving and drinking alcohol. I'm not hardcore enough to keep it going though, I'll do/wear all three things this weekend, since I've managed my October goals.

Also: I still get interest from men, sober, makeupless and unshaven (although I wear a lot of long-sleeved tops). It's nice to know that I can be interesting in myself...

Sorry, this became a massive ramble. Yes. I go out in public without makeup. Mostly because I love to challenge myself to different things, as you've probably realised.

Most days I wear none, but maybe once a week I will wear blusher, eye shimmer and bright lip gloss. Thats about all I own though.
